96 ranger 4wd already clean wiper switch but still wipers are usually inop. Is there some sort of relay controlling intermitant function that is going bad or what.

i have not had this problem in a ranger yet. maybe a bad spot in the motor. if you have the wipers on pull on the wiper arm like your going to use them by had and see if they kick in after you move them a little. if they kick in after you moving them some than most likely you ave a bad motor.

thats a good idea thx i will try it also thx for the advice on the clutch noise.. its probably original clutch and im not looking forward to replacing it especially since its not slipping yet

a ranger is really easy to do one of my side jobs is at my buddys trans shop and his r&r guy can drop the trans put in the new clutch and put it back on the ground runnin in 30 mins and he is a honda tech lol. im a semi hard core ranger guy and have not been able to do that
