Why am I continually receiving this message?


To conserve battery life for your My Ranger equipped with FordPass(TM) Connect, remote features including start/stop and lock/unlock* are temporarily unavailable. Don't worry though, nothing is wrong. This happens automatically when you haven't started your vehicle for a period of time.

Simply start your vehicle and remote features including start/stop and lock/unlock will be back at your fingertips.

You're only supposed to get it when you haven't started your vehicle for three days. Your vehicle turns off all communications with ford so it doesn't run the battery down, it disables updates, remote start and lock/unlock. It should reconnect after starting the vehicle. Personally I think there is a bug in the app update as I have also started receiving this message.
