So i have one broncoII XLT emblem, one broken, a front ford grill emblem is broken, and the rear ford emblem is off. Should i buy new ones to replace the broken ones(expensive), fill in the holes, make new, or what?

well there are a ton of different things that you could do. it kinda depends on your style. i want to change the blue on the front ford and the rest i want to take off. on the other hand i do have alot of f-150 parts so i wanted to make krustom f-150 ranger side badges. but maybe you can do like a hybred explorer II badges or maybe some EX II you know what i mean make your own

How do you change the color?
I like the EX II idea since ive got explorer axles, but i also like people knowing i drive a BII, I actually had someone comment on my "Jeep".

first off if they dont know its a b ii there got probs lol.(hey man nice blazer) lol..

well the write up as been done many times on other forums but its really easy.

you take the ford emblems off you clean it up with soap and water if its dirty.

after that you use a blow dryer or heat gun to warm it up.

while its still warm you need to pry the clear part from the backing piece(reheat if needed).

now that you have it apart you sand off the blue with (i was told repeatedly) 600 grit sand paper.

now just tape off the front so you dont get over spary and paint it what ever color you want. ;D

I tried it once by putting it in a pot of boiling water... one melted emblem later, I still dont have a tailgate emblem... LOL ;D

ya some time things dont work how you want. i tried to seperate my tail lights well long story short i forgot about them in the oven and i had a deformed pyle of crap
