Hello everyone i have a new issue with the ranger. The transfercase doesn't want to engage in 4wd. I will put it in 4hi from a dead stop and both the 4hi and 4lo lights flash but nothing happens. I am really confused as to why it does this your input is greatly appreciated.

Glad you fixed it.
So you disconnected the battery positive from the battery and then reconnected it?

You may have a poor connection on the transfer case shift motor. I would check it to make sure the wires/connectors are clean. This may prevent the issue from occuring again.

in my opinion the transfer case motor will stick if not excercised at least once every month (3k miles) ive never seen any tc motor actually worn out from over use..
