Tranny swapping my 4.0 from explorer sport trac

Hello everyone, quite new here and it’s kinda my last resort for information, but I’ve currently got a 2008 4.0L 4x4 and my tranny is done for, I’m currently talking to a guy who’s got a tranny out of an 08 ford explorer sport trac with the 4.0L and 4x4, was wondering if it’ll just bolt right up to mine and work properly as I’ve heard the the 4.0 in the ranger is the same as the 4.0 in the sport trac, thanks for any help, all is appreciated
