Hi. I did some digging and found out where the fresh air intakes are.
First you have to remove the passenger side cowl cover.
It has 5 plastic rivets.

One of them also holds down this piece.

To remove the rivets, pry up the center section and remove the whole thing.

The air intake holes are visible now.

I cut two pieces of metal screen about 5 X 6 inches.
I used 1/4 inch mesh as that is what I had.
You want to use metal so they can't chew through it.
I wedged them in with a couple pieces of foam core, but the semi-rigid poly packing foam might be better.
After it was done I put some good blobs of adhesive caulk to help hold it in place.

Why any automaker would leave holes that big to the outside is beyond me.
I removed the rivets but the cowl does not come off. Is it clipped in at the rear? I don't want to RIP it off and damage it.
