I hope this is the forum i'm supposed to be in, if not yell softly. ; :) when I am at a lite and I push on the excellerator the truck starts to go and then I feel a clunk and then everything is ok. But when the engine is cold and the RPM are up it doesn't do it. Any Ideas

Hmmm... that could be a few things, but to narrow it down, i would say it is either in one of the following:

1. Transmission
2. Differential
3. Drive Shaft

Have you checked the condition of the U-Joints in your driveshaft? Also, you could maybe take the differential cover off the rear axle and make sure there is nothing going on in there... make sure you get more gear oil before taking the cover off... I wont make that mistake again... LOL

Where do you think the clunk is coming from? EG. left side, right side, front, back. Have you done any work to the truck recently, like brakes or wheel bearings? Does it do it in reverse?

You can go to an auto parts place and get the codes read. Then post up the results here.
