Didn't have much time for the forums lately but did get the shell placed on the bed of the truck before it gets tucked away for the week while i'm down in san diego. Had a huge order for jerky to produce to bring out to the Uss Stennis and took up many a late nite slaving over hot dehydrators during the last week.
finally got the hang of the hvlp sprayer and managed to find that 4 successive coats of clear with 5 minutes between each recoat gave it a finish worthy of not touching when cured, don't even want to wet sand this one.
The shell will probably need to get the same clearcoat job that the back door received but will leave it till the trim color gets applied.
