I bought a new Lightening Blue 2019 Ranger Lariat 4WD on 11/18. Eighteen hours later a gravel-loaded dump truck rolled through a stop sign and t-boned my truck when I was doing 45-50 mph, pushed me into a culvert where I then clipped a tree. Driver side was crushed, passenger side fender and front end were crumbled and frame appeared to be bent. Truck was totaled. Best news is that I pushed the door open, climbed out under the side airbags and walked away. Superficial burns from the airbags, bruising from the seatbelts and soreness. I can say testify that the new Rangers are tough trucks. If I had been in my 2011 Mustang convertible or the 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac which I traded in, I do not think I would have walked away from the accident. The other driver’s company was insured and I have already replaced my first Ranger with a black 2019 Ranger Lariat 4WD. I love my Fords!

Sorry to hear about the accident but glad you're alive and well enough to share the experience.

These Rangers have existed overseas for many years so it has that advantage.
