It would be fun, but I would imagine that maintenance would be a total killer with them. If you think about it, there are probably several dozen moving parts and bearings in them that would have to be constantly greased, especially if you are constantly water crossing or driving through snow where moisture would get in it. Not to mention the price tag they probably have.

I saw those on some vid, they rock on snow. And would prob be good on muskeg. If you could afford them , you could afford a maintenance mechanic ;D

the power company in town has a set on a line truck it looks just plain bad ass but it has never moved it sat on a trailer for the last 4 yrars and has never once been off that trailer now just this winter they have covered it up. my thinking is that they are not that good. if they put all the quid in to it and never use it. on the other hand go check ken block with a set on his rally car rooting around a ski slope its deadly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTDNLUzjkpg

Even the tow trucks! I use to drive for a towing company, and I would get stuck in my truck every-once in a while. Need-less to say, I got canned.

i have looked into it quite alot before and they aint cheap about 2000 to 3000 dollors and there is a wide veriety of them and they keep themselves well mantained i heard the real prob with them is tht u have to wash the mud off everytime u get done useing them u can go about 45 mph to 50 mph and they are very well road worthy and the tread lasts a long time and they come with an amazing warrenty believe me i look into those for my ranger and have already planed on getting them :knight:
