Hi Guys, looking for a bit of help diagnosing a problem. The other day I was driving and the cruise control light was on but I could not get it to engage. Then the cruise light turned off (and wouldn't turn back on) and I can't get it to work at all... I noticed a bit of weird throttle symptoms since then like harsh (jerky) acceleration and deceleration at 100kms/hr. The car also idles a little rough and has a knocking sound at low revs under load. I can't find anything in Haynes manual to trouble shoot it, lots of internet threads on older rangers and cruise control issues but not the px2 mk1... anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Check your clutch pedal switches, more so the bottom one. If it's not giving the correct signal it will not allow the cruise to engage and will cause exactly how you explained when it comes to acceleration.
