94 ford ranger 4 cylinder
Has an intermittent power issue. She will go from low power to normal power to low power on her own. It is like she is running on full choke. I have had her in three different shops, the last being the ford dealer, the codes read “primary coil circuit” and every one wants to replace the coils and it does not work. I think it is what fires the coils, I have gone from 400 miles a tank to 160 miles a tank.
It seems like she runs better when the air is cold or the outside temp is cold
The last shop I took her to estimated about 300 just for diagnostic work I don’t have that kind of cash, I am asking for some help in figuring out what I need to replace
