I'm using Joomla with a nice template. I still got to write a few things out, put together a Squad members page, and look for a blog or something of that sort. But all together Its coming nice.

I would definitely look into adding a SMF forum to your site. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe someone created a Joomla bridge.

Search around their forum and see if you can find something: www.simplemachines.org

Yea, it seems like its been done, but was discontinued due to compatibility issues. I was looking into it. I don't want to go the PHPbb Route, but I just might have too. :-[

I tried using them and myBB before settling on SMF. They were absolutely terrible. I couldnt even get myBB to install properly. phpBB just didnt feel right to me.

Of course there is always vBulletin, but completely overpriced at $300. IPB is similar to vBulletin, but $200 cheaper at $100.
