Great info about your ranger - Vin number

Im not taking credit for this, im just baseing this on what i see from my LMC Truck book. if you give me your vin number i can tell you the:

I got mine but im confused on a part of mine. Heres the VIN:

1FTYR10U63TA08530

But that "8" at the end does not look like an 8 on the actual VIN plate. It looks like the bottom is a circle and then the top circle has a flat horizontal edge. Any idea on that? Ill take a pic of it tomorrow when it is not dark out.

Olfordtruck:that 8 is an 8, if not then your truck must be some sort of CHEV cause thats part of the production number.

What is CHEV? I will take a picture of the VIN plate after work so you can see it but its very weird looking!
its gotta be an 8, and i just used chev to say that your ranger isnt a ranger cause it has to be an 8 lol
