So, I have a 2001 extended-cab ford ranger. My dad had given it to me but apparently, there was something wrong with it, and got the motor swapped out. It for sure is a 3.0l still but it had some problems still I took it because I didn't trust it with that guy. I believe the engine he put in is a non-flex fuel engine because I swapped the injectors, and they only had the 3 ports. Is there any other difference in the engine that makes it a Flex Fuel? The VIN is a V so stock it was a flex-fuel. Are there any differences between the engines or are they the same besides some sensors where are the sensors located anyone can help me with that?
