I want to put a better and louder exhaust on my 2003 ranger edge 4.0 but i can't really aford duels so i just want a single but i need some tips. what pipe should i get and should i go with a striaght pipe or curve it? and i have been looking at the magnaflow's but i dont know which one would sound better. Thanks

haha... I think you will find the popular choice on here is to go with Flowmaster!

I'm a fan of straight pipe for dual exhaust, but I'm more of a fan of side exit or dumped exhaust for single out.

Flowmaster Super 44 with Lightning style side exhaust... anything else is a waste in my opinion! LOL... but seriously, Super 44!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

True, but its a 4.0 so that would be super duper loud with the 40. A super 44 would be loud and have a good grumble to it.

I've heard good things about Borla Exhaust... but only from people who have them on their diesel trucks... never heard one on a Ranger before...

Borla sounds goon on my friend's 4.0 stang so it may sound good on a ranger if the cash is floating around. Hell no to cherry bomb. You get what you pay for my friend and cherry bombs come cheap!

you run a cherry your wasting your money you might as well just put straight pipe and save the $20+ you would spend on the cherry. flows can be bought used from the junk yard for almost nothing i found one on a ranger same year and motor as mine i paid $5 and it bolted on

thanks everyone i think im going to put straight pipe, duel super 44's on when i get the money (some time during or just before summer) thanks ill upload photos when i get it done one of my friends said he could help with most of it cuz he put them on his but any tips are welcome! thanks again!
