i think i remember a discussion about this a while back on one of the other forums and i think it was concluded that it would be alot of work to make it happen. but hey, who doesn't love a challenge, right? ;)

well i would like to find out i might have to take some measurements and find out ive been debating about doing this with my ranger so i can get a wider wheel base and turning it in to a dune truck instead up finishing my banshee right now. and with baja fender's on it it will be legal. plus it will be a ton more stable!

the brackets are 2" father apart on the rbv than the 150 you have to add 1 inch to the pivot ends of the beams then its almost a bolt in,

You also have to either move the coils buckets out or the mounts on the beams in.(or use coil overs) I have seen people use the beams without adding to them, but you have shorten the axle shafts.

good info and i already figured the coil mount's on the axle would have to be modified im just trying to convince my self i wont spend the money in this the fiber glass alone is going to run about $1300 and $200 in shipping and the rest is going to just be fab work ill probably keep the stock suspension for now.

As far as swapping the entire axle, it would probably be alot of work.

I've heard of swapping certain parts (knuckles, outer shafts, etc) to make the D35 a little beefier...

It is also possible to swap just the spindles from a TTB D44 that way you dont have to ream the lower ball joint hole on the beam, but the 5 bolt pattern spindle was only offered on like 96 Broncos. Then you use any D44 rotors/hubs and figure out brakes. It is easiest to use the Chevy backing plate and calipers.

the D44 spindles have a much larger(2") bearing spacing than the D35 (.5")which allows for better heat dissipation and less "wobble" and you also get a superior locking hub. The biggest down fall of the swap is that you will end up 5x5.5 bolt pattern. When my front end goes to **** I plan to swap some D44 knuckles and either adapters in the rear or have some F-150 8.8 axles cut down.

sorry i forgot that asked this question but i don't wont to just change out the end's i wont the beams and all and the fiberglass i wont to put on it is a full one peace front end to change it to the newer front clip and the 6 inch bed side's to match the price is high because i wont high quality part's i have seen some very bad fiberglass peace's and they cost more to fix them than they cost.

To use the full the D44 TTB you need to spread the pivot points or shorten the pass side inner shaft. (If I remember right it cant be shortened because the splines are larger diameter, so you have to have a custom shaft made). You also have to space the coil buckets out to match the fullsize coil spacing.

i coinsidered this awile back. this gives you full width and no mods to the axles . of course thats not all but thats the big part
