hey guys, i have a 1993 mazda b2600i (no, its not the ranger type, that was 94) and the fall before last, i was hooked on a stump almost got out, and was dumping the clutch from 1st to reverse, back and forth dumpin the clutch, then i dumped the clutch again and she kinda kicked in but then just revved up like she was in neutral, it dont matter if im in 2wd or 4wd she will just rev up in any gear including reverse. there is still pressure on teh clutch but dont know if its enough. if i rev her up reeeeealy high she will move a little bit but its pushing her limits.
i really wanna get this truck going again please help guys i dont wanna have to buy a new clutch if thats not the problem

its done :'(. should be a inspection plate some where take it off i bet ;D pieces fall out just be careful dont breath that **** in clutch dust ain't good for you ;D

From what I'm reading,it sounds like the clutch is gone.Like sloue said there should be an inspection plate or rubber you can remove to see.

Yes it definetly sounds like the clutch or maybe the throw out bearing :-[

clutch or trans(more than likely the clutch. it should only cost like $125 for a new one from Autozone. also when are doing the clutch you should get you flywheel turned and make sure that the flywheel isnt cracked, if it is you should get a new one of those also. make sure that you take the exhaust cross over off also it makes it ALOT easyer to get the trans back in trust me on this one. good luck man.

Mine would have considered it an insult to even try such a small mound of snow. Hahaha. I almost flipped her backwards last month. If I had an engine with balls instead of this POS 2.9, I would be into bodywork now.

wish i had my 79 at the time though lol she wouldve took that snow in through the carb and out the exhaust, then she wouldve spit on its face
