That's crazy! Could you get a couple close up pics of your bed rails? Thanks!

ask and you shall receive! i used some diamond plate rails from a dodge truck that i shortened to fit. they are just screwed in with some self-tapping screws.

That's got to be one of the most awesome mods done to an old BII. Skies the limit on what you can do to make it into what ever you want it to or what you intend to do with it. Is that a 5.0 or the 2.9 with the edelbrock. Valve covers look like the 2.9 but the pulley setup looked different.

i used the stock back hatch to make the back of the cab. i trimmed it a bit the screwed it in place on the top and sides. on the bottom i used a piece of angle iron. then lots of body filler. you can see some more detailed pics here:

Ive seen your truck on bii.org. What is you wheel backspacing? Im in the progress of the D35, and 8.8 swap now too. What did you use as the back of your cab?
not quite sure about the back spacing. the rims were on it when i bought it. they are 15"by10" if that helps. i can measure how deep they are tomorrow.
