So my truck ( ford ranger xl v6 3.0l) started loosing power a few weeks ago, bogged down. so i pulled some codes on it ( even tho the check engine light wasn't on)
it pulled quite a few codes
p0430
p1130
p1131
p0171
po174
p1000
p0340

I first checked for leaks in the vacuum hoses and found one and fixed it. next i looked at the camshaft and when i removed the sensor underneath was melted, and it looks like even the tab on the synchronizer was melted as well.
My question is if its obvious why my engine is running so hot or lean. will replacing o2 sensors and cam shaft help to fix this or will they just be destroyed again?
i have a picture on my phone i will try to add thank you.
