Hey there, I have a 1995 ford ranger xlt, the wheels right now are tiny: 215 70 R15. Just wondering if anyone knows how big of a tire I can get on there w/o lifting the truck. I'm definitely willing to put spacers on there if need be. Thanks, any advice would be awesome.

is your truck a 2wd or 4wd?

My 97 4x4 had 31x10.50's on it when I got it, but they scrubbed just a bit. If you have a 2wd, I would say go no bigger than 30"

Since he has 15's I am going to assume 4x4, so a 31 would be limit. They fit nice, but will touch the sway bar at full lock.
So 15" = 4x4, does 14" = 2x4? good to know.

The older 4x2's were normally 14's, but after 1995 15's came on both 4x2 and 4x4. Stock RBV 14's wont fit over the front hubs on a TTB 4x4, nor will they fit over calipers on a disc brake 8.8.

correct until some year up in the mid to late 90s, not sure what year exactly.

and on a 3rd gen id use 31s, they fit nicely stock. i am using 33x12.50s with 1.5" spacers on my 94 4x4 with 3" body lift and they rub on the fender when flexing
