Lol, So I been thinking, I need to start a build thread. I will start by taking pictures when I swap out my old Beat up 4.0 for a newer, better running 4.0. Next I will be looking for a parts truck 01-03 Ranger I will be using the grille, lights, core support, and hood. Pre-Runner fenders Custom Trophy truck bumper, I want to make it myself, and make it so it just bolts onto my bumper mounts. I'm going to go for a Sky-Jacker 4 to 6in suspension. Wheels I will be running with crager 352 series street lock "D" rims, with Interco SS-M1. Of course a good truck like this deserves some good lights so I found the configuration I want off of a Ranger Trophy truck. Click Here to see the truck. Exhaust will be custom made from a local shop. Decal's will include will minimal I want to put about a 3in band across the top and bottom of the window, interior will be painted black, with blue. Thats all I got for now on my plan, I will be working on more looking into braking, and other things.

Re: Arctic's Build (Planning.)

WOW. That is an awesome plan for the truck!!! When do you think you will get started on different parts of it? If you are going for a great 4.0 the consider looking at Tom Morana Racing. Look up his site. Hes got everything from stroker kits for the 3.0, 3.8, and 4.0 and hes even got complete engines... Even if you dont go crazy with the engines or stroker kits, hes still got rockers, intake manifolds, and cams. If you want a new 4.0 and have money i would say make it a beefy 4.0!

Might just go for a kit, I already have a replacement engine.

I wanted, to do the 95 to 04 conversion, but didn't know about the bumper the pre-runner fenders would add character to the truck. Light bars done right, I want everything to be bolt on, so I can take it off if need be. Mainly I want the truck to look like a the trophy truck made by Camburg.

This plan is not just for looks, I fully plan on taking this beast out, and rallying it. We have this nice area with plenty of hills mud, and sand dunes. It would be the perfect place to test this truck.

A couple more things I want to add is a Explorer OHC, rewire the ignition. I want to add the button for power into the OHC. Carbon fiber design, on the interior would look sweet. Here's a sweet looking button its for a Focus.

I also want to add a engine. Turn it into the "Interceptor" Ranger. Using the engine from a old 1995+ Crown Victoria with the Interceptor package.

Well first of all, my trucks been parked since I did it, but I slide into a pole, made a nice little dent in the bumper.

So I thought I would take it off, I figure if I'm going to get one made up, I wont need the current one. I found out that the numbers don't match to the rest of truck, lol replacement!

I've also taken off the hood, I started to get it ready for the swap, the new engine is out of a 96 exploder! lol, anyways I'm still working on a few bolts here and there, unplugging stuff, and tomorrow I should be able to pull it.
