Well, I been looking to change the front end of my truck. I came across this one post on a site, that interested me a lot. I was wondering, what would it take to make the conversion possible? I have a lot of plans for my 95, but I first wanted to learn as much as I can before starting on the path.

Heres the 93 to 04 Conversion

well the only prob with doing this is alot of ppl want to do it. its not to hard and the eastest way to do it is a doner. best thing to do is core support swap and than the parts to match. but if your savy enuff you can use your core support and make you own brackets to mount the header panel. how much work do you want to do?

I believe any 98+ core support will work
I believe you are correct sir!

You will also need a 98+ Hood Latch

Hey, I wanted to ask. Your truck, what year is it?, and Bumper? That would look nice on a stepside. I also plan on lifting the truck sometime. :D

My truck is a 97 with an 03 bumper. The bumper has to be modified a little bit, but it's not too awful hard, just make some angle brackets to attach it.

What type of lift you looking to go for?

That's what was on my truck in my avatar pic. I had 2" front coil spacers too.

Mine is currently torn down undergoing a solid axle swap... Gonna try and get 'er done before this summer.

Yea I like the stance of your truck in the Avatar picture. The 04 Bumper makes it look smooth, I still haven't decided if I wanted to stick with the 04 conversion. I'll have to see the brackets, and someday when I get the tools (Just moved to a new place with no tools.) I plan on getting it more ... sleek.

I thought about swapping the front end a while back, but decided against it. I went with the black projector headlights and the bumper swap and couldnt be happier!

I'll try to get a pic of the brackets soon!

Yea, I don't know yet.

Hopefully I can get somewhere, I like my truck, but seeing the possibility's got me thinking.

I have thought the list over, and only thing I'm not sure of is the front conversion.
1: Interior. Fiber-glass, and bond everything. Flat-Black
2: Lift. 8" Simple
3: Wheels. Haven't thought this over, but I want something in like a pre-runner style.
4: Power-plant. Keep with the v6 just a few tweets here and there.
5: Drive-train. Again Keeping with the stocker
6: Bed. Possibly rhino line, with a roll bar.
7: Paint. All Flat black with a few glossy black accessorys.

I'm still working on it though.
