Hi All After some advice regarding gearbox going into limp mode intermitantly .

Completed lap of Aust last year with no problems. Normal service carryed out but caravan had extra solar panel fitted this is the only changers that were made form last trip.
This trip went as follows
Sydney /Grafton no problem, Grafton /pottsville 192 k (engin temp ok) went into limp mode, turned of motor then restarted pulled into gear, clunk but would not go.
Sat for 1 hour ,started up & carryed on to the gold coast no problems
Gold Coast to Brisbane went into limp mode (94 k)
Fitted oil cooler & serviced gearbox thinking oil overheating.
Then did a range of short runs up to buxton with no trouble.Travel 266k without the van no problem.
Rehooked van Bowen to Ayr (115k) limp mode (checked out with computer to see if any problems nothing showed up). At Townsville (87k) limp mode , UNPLUGGED VAN, STARTED ENGIN & drove off.?????
This carryed on for the rest of our trip without the van pluged no problems (Theodor to Miles 224K) but then pluged in the van traveled 80K limp mode .
HOW CAN THE VAN BEING PLUGGIN CAUSE THE GEARBOX TO GO INTO LIMP MODE???
