Hi All,
My Ranger is running very well except for;
My number 5 fuel injector is weeping fuel (low pressure) from the area around the nut/collar that holds the solenoid in place.
On line search shows a Viton O ring at the base of the solenoid. I assume the O ring has failed. To purchase a replacement Viton O ring I will need to know the correct dimensions.
No one seems to be rebuilding VDO/Siemens injectors in Australia and as far as I can find out no parts (even an O ring) is available. I am reluctant to shell out $4-500 on a single injector, when a suitable generic Viton O ring is probably available from local suppliers for a few dollars.
Anyone out there got an old injector that can be measured up???
