1986 4x4 ranger i want for a project

I was kinda thinking the same thing... I wouldnt pay $500 for it...

i would keep looking, you want to start with some thing all there unless you have parts truck. unless you are going to do a swap right off ,in witch case i would start looking else where for some thing cheaper to just cut in to. what i am trying to say is this guy is out of his mind wanting 5oo bones for a no tranny 86 ranger, d28 ,7.5 ,2.9 junk like floored said 200 tops and he should deliver for that

i wanted it more for it's body and i would never pay that much i'd only pay 100 for something like that but i want a prerunner with that body ;D

then have a real good look at the frame . pay close atteion to the spring mounting points front and back make sure the rust has not got to them and the cab you want rust free as much as it can be. i am fighting rust with a blazer build iam doing for a friend and it a pain in the ass to weld to rust have to rebuild the floor pan and fire wall before i can start the cage. i still think finding one thats a runner youll be farther a head

i want one that looks like that but i'm just shopping around ya know i want a prerunner that i don't have to give a **** about offroading cuz i can pull it on a trailer but i really want one to build from nothing

eather way what ever you look at those are the main things to look at the more solid the base the better rig youll have in the end

thanks man i have my 2003 ranger but that my dd and i can't rip on it much so i'm looking for a project truck i can rip on and fix and rip on and fix lol if u know what i mean

lol actully i think i'm going to quick welding for awhile and have my professional welder done the street do it he does all my other work

i would not give more then a $100 for it if it was me
