I just got a 1984 Ford Ranger 4 cyl. the engine was disassembled and parts (I hope all of them) are in the box.

I'm hoping someone can provide me some pictures that show the engine components locations, for example alternator, carburator, vacum connections and wiring harness connections so I can hopfully assemble this truck in hopes that it will start. I'm not sure I have all the parts, brackets etc, but with some pictures I could sort through the parts I have and determine what, if anything I need.

Does anyone know of a repair manual on line?

Thanks for your help.

Haynes manuals are great. You could pick one up at Advanced Auto or Autozone for about $20.
